Vimeo Vid of the Day, "The Legend of the Scarecrow" by Carlos Lascano
The Legend of the Scarecrow from Carlos Lascano on Vimeo.
This short film was created using various 2D and 3D elements in After Effects and it looks like something out of a Tim Burton film. It's in Spanish though and unfortunately there are no subtitles. Which sucks because I don't remember anything from 9th grade Spanish class. You can learn more about how he created the film at his blog.

Grafics are great, i am from mexico and i can tell you is a very good story. Good job( Buen trabajo)
I don't speak much spanish, but the graphics were good, and the beginning reminds me a lot of Pan's Labrynth.
Someone's seen Frankenstein...
you don't need to know spanish to understand the story......it was really good.....i loved these stories when i was younger!
i too am hispanic na i thought it was a very good story.
It basically shows you why crows are black-in memeory of the scarecrow.
This is not the final release of the Short Film. The last is dubbed by Sancho Gracia, a notrious Spanish actor with a great voice and acting.
This is the last release, wich was nominated in the Spanish Academy Awards ("Los Goya") and in lots of festivals.
