We've been getting a lot of requests for effects to create in future episodes, and we love it. The only problem is that they're getting posted on all different pages and in all different places, it's impossible to keep up!
So, now, with the wonder of modern technology, we present the place to plop your problems on our lap so we can make 'em cheap and easy ... but before you do, make sure to read over what we've done, and what we're doing, so you make certain we haven't already answered what you're askin'.

i im wondering how to make a gun , a big gun like a desert eagle or somthing.i would like to build one from scratch not "geta air soft gun or build from a cap gun or somthing get some metal do this that and the other thing and u got a desert eagle that loads a magazen loads and over all works plzzz do this as i think there would be alot of other peps that would like this build so plzzzz do it and it would be so cool just to have fxking (in training)

hey indy mogul, I'm not sure if its in the realm of possibility to do cheaply, but if you've evre seen "An American Werewolf In London" I want to recreate the effect where the main guys arms, feet, and head stretch into a really creepy wolflike figure, all on screen, for my short film. I really hope you take my request into consideration, cause I'm need this seen in my short to be top notch. Thanks for reading! The Ironman Chest piece, not necessarily the whole suit just the light-up chest piece( a wearable version and prob version would be cool)
im not completely sure, but i think you can do it with a round bike reflector and one of those round keychain lights... glue/tape light under the reflector and hide it in the chest peice.
Okay, so I'm making 7 movies about a guy called Calvin Jones jr A.K.A. California Jones (This is a re-imagining of the Indiana Jones movies, not a remake). I want to know how to shoot a real landscape and replace it with a model of the location, create a miniature boulder with a bunch of arrows coming out of it (This is sort of like a combonation of the boulder in Raiders of the Lost Ark and a booby trap), create a full-scale earthquake on a live-action set without spending $20,000,(my movie budgets should be $100,000 or less), how to create an exploding head, a trail of fire without using Adobe After Effects, and how to make a full scale replica of the Mask of Evil (looks like a hockey mask covered in golden foil and heiroglyphs, and the Crysal Skull).

I have a pretty tall order here.How would you get the ripped flesh look like the passion of the christ? and how to replicate the crucifixion from the 2000 Jesus mini series(because his arms aren't tied, and it only shows him hanging by the wrists.)
can you make an effects of someone being ripped or blown in half? like someon standing up and a canonball hits them and the split in half.

Could you make a (relativley) safe explosion simulating a mortar blast hitting the ground? I know there is a way to step on a board with dirt on it, but I need one that will explode (possibley) remotely, or simply one that dosent require a person to trigger it. thanks!

i dont know what your gore limitation is, but i think it would be pretty cool if you did a halloween special using your minitour video. what you have to do is make the minitour eat a guy from the waist down with his intestines and stuff falling out that would be your effct.
